FOR WINNING ARTWORKS Archibald Prize 2023 Regional Tour
The 57 finalists in Australia’s most prestigious portrait competition, the Archibald Prize, presented by the Art Gallery of NSW, are going on tour, with the first stop at the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery in Victoria. The gallery will host an immersive program of events and art experiences around the portraits, which feature figures from Australian life and include this year’s winner, a painting of singer Montaigne by Julia Gutman (above). 15 September-5 November; details at mprg.mornpen.vic.gov.au
